Meet Lucas and Laney, the founders of Lu and Home. Lucas, a native of Waco, Texas, and Laney, originally from Dallas, first met in 2012 and began dating in 2018. Lucas brings years of experience running various businesses and has always been passionate about finding high-quality items at great prices. Laney shares his appreciation for luxury and quality, and together they founded Lu and Home.
The company is named after their daughter, Lucy, who was born in early 2023, as well as Laney's childhood nickname, "Laney Lu," and the "Lu" in Lucas's first name. As a family, they also adore their dachshunds and enjoy their life in Waco.
Lu and Home was founded in 2022 by Lucas and Laney after they experienced the incredible opportunity to have their home renovated on the popular TV show Fixer Upper in Waco, Texas. After their home became a beautiful space, they realized they needed equally stunning furniture to match. With Laney's appreciation for luxury and Lucas's eye for good deals, they embarked on a journey across Texas to curate a collection of high-end furniture at unbeatable prices.
