At Lu and Home, we are committed to delivering your chosen pieces with the utmost care. While we take great pride in the delivery process, we also want to provide clear expectations around the different delivery options and timelines available.
Delivery Options
We offer a variety of delivery services depending on your location and the size of your purchase:
Standard Delivery
For most deliveries, especially out-of-town, we provide a standard delivery service. Our delivery professional will bring the item to your doorstep. If assistance is required to bring the piece inside, our delivery team is often able to help with the customer’s cooperation.
White Glove Delivery
We also offer white glove delivery upon request and availability. This service includes full inside placement, unwrapping, and light assembly. Please note that this service may not be available for all out-of-town deliveries due to logistics.
Delivery Timeframe
Delivery times can vary based on your location and the nature of the order. While we strive to deliver your items as promptly as possible, we recommend allowing for the following timeframes:
• Local Deliveries (Waco, DFW, Austin): 3-10 business days.
• Out-of-Town Deliveries: Please allow up to 10-21 business days depending on the destination and our delivery schedule.
We understand that some customers may require more specific delivery windows, but please note that we cannot guarantee specific date or time requests due to scheduling constraints and the nature of transporting large items. We recommend allowing flexibility in your delivery window to avoid complications.
Shipping and Fees
For deliveries outside of our local area, we partner with reputable shipping companies. Shipping costs are calculated based on the size, weight, and destination of the item. Please note, once the item leaves our hands and is with the shipping carrier, we are not responsible for any delays or damage caused by the shipping carrier.
Damaged Shipments and Returns
If your item arrives damaged, please notify us immediately. We will work with you to repair, replace, or refund the item, depending on the circumstances. Any claims of damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery to facilitate the resolution process. Please note that we do not cover return shipping costs unless the item arrives damaged or defective. For further details, see our Return Policy.
Restocking Fees and Shipping Costs
In the rare event that a return is approved, a restocking fee of up to 20% may apply. If an item is shipped with free shipping and later returned, the actual shipping costs incurred by Lu and Home will be deducted from any potential refund.
