Dating to approximately 2000, this custom-made bed features substantial solid iron construction with an exceptionally tall, architectural headboard and coordinating footboard. Elaborate hand-worked scrollwork creates an open, symmetrical design accented by decorative center medallions, wrapped iron detailing, and oversized acorn finials with a subtly antiqued finish. The tall openwork posts continue into distinctive sculptural basket-form feet, giving the bed an impressive sense of scale while maintaining an airy profile. Finished in a deep black-brown tone with warm aged accents, this one-of-a-kind bed makes a dramatic statement in a traditional, Mediterranean, or Old World-inspired interior. Includes the headboard and footboard only; side rails are not included.

Condition: Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and previous use. The iron finish shows scattered scratches, scuffs, small areas of finish loss, and surface wear throughout, particularly along the finials, edges, and lower portions of the posts. The antiqued finish has natural variation that complements the character of the piece. No significant damage is apparent in the photos. Headboard and footboard only; side rails are not included.
