Dating to 1952, this solid American wild cherry chest of drawers was crafted by Davis Cabinet Company of Nashville, Tennessee, and finished in the company's Collectors Cherry finish. The tall chest features four spacious drawers with turned wooden knobs, paneled sides, prominent ring-turned front columns, and coordinating turned feet. An arched tilting mirror rises above the chest between intricately turned supports and includes a small accessory drawer at its base. With its warm cherry finish, substantial solid-wood construction, and distinctive American Empire-inspired detailing, this is a beautifully preserved example of mid-century traditional American furniture.

Condition: Good vintage condition with wear consistent with its approximately 74 years of age and previous use. The cherry finish shows scattered light scratches, small marks, minor scuffs, and areas of surface wear, particularly to the drawer knobs, turned details, feet, and top. The drawer interiors remain clean overall with light signs of use. The mirror and its frame present well, with minor age-related wear visible to the wood finish. Original Davis Cabinet Company and Logan Porter Mirror Co. labels remain intact on the piece.
