Dating to approximately the 1890s, this monumental Renaissance Revival back bar cabinet and sideboard features richly finished walnut construction with elaborate hand-carved detailing throughout. The architectural two-part design is accented by turned columns, carved cabinet panels, classical portrait medallions, paneled doors, and patinated brass hardware. A striking black and white veined marble work surface separates the upper display and storage cabinet from the substantial lower sideboard, which offers two drawers and a spacious shelved cabinet. Open shelving at the center of the upper section provides additional display space, while enclosed cabinets flank either side. With its impressive scale, dark walnut finish, and intricate period detailing, this late 19th-century piece makes a commanding statement as a dining room sideboard, back bar, or display cabinet.

Condition: Good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. The walnut finish shows scattered scratches, marks, areas of finish wear, discoloration, and age-related separation throughout. The marble top has a visible crack running through the center, along with surface scratches, staining, rings, and other signs of use, as pictured. Drawer interiors and interior wood surfaces show staining, marks, and wear from age. The brass hardware has developed an aged patina. The piece retains a beautifully aged appearance consistent with its late 19th-century construction.
