Marge Carson Round Parquetry Extendable Pedestal Dining Table

This impressive Marge Carson dining table showcases the brand's signature combination of grand proportions, traditional craftsmanship, and ornate detailing. The substantial round tabletop features an intricate geometric parquetry design with alternating wood grain patterns, framed by a wide border and finished in a rich, dark brown tone. The sculptural pedestal base features a dramatic urn-shaped silhouette, decorative scrolling supports, and gold-toned acanthus leaf accents that add an elegant, classical influence. The table includes extension leaves for additional seating capacity, along with integrated storage for the leaves when not in use. Known for its luxurious furnishings and elaborate designs, Marge Carson brings a distinctive sense of craftsmanship and sophistication to this statement dining table.

Condition: Good condition with visible wear consistent with age and use. The tabletop shows surface scratches, minor indentations, finish wear, and scattered blemishes throughout. There is more noticeable finish wear and rubbing along portions of the tabletop's outer edge, including areas where the finish has worn away to reveal lighter wood underneath. The pedestal base also exhibits areas of finish loss, scuffing, and surface wear, particularly around the lower rounded molding.
