An impressive traditional headboard and footboard featuring elaborate European-inspired ornamentation and a warm, richly toned wood finish. The tall arched headboard makes a dramatic statement with scrolling acanthus foliage, floral motifs, raised decorative appliqués, beaded trim, and a prominent carved crest, all framed by substantial column-style posts topped with decorative finials. The coordinating footboard echoes the headboard with a gently shaped profile, burled-look center panel, carved molding, and matching posts and finials. Darker glazing throughout the carved details adds depth and emphasizes the intricate decoration. Made in China and dating to approximately the 1990s–2000s, the set reflects the grand traditional European-inspired furniture that was especially popular during this period. Includes headboard and footboard only; side rails and mattress support are not included.

Condition: Very good condition with light wear consistent with age and previous use. Minor surface marks, scratches, and small areas of finish wear are present throughout, particularly around the posts and lower portions of the footboard. The decorative finish also shows intentional antiquing and crackle detailing in select areas. The carved and applied ornamentation presents beautifully overall.
