Dating to 1948, this vintage vanity by Davis Cabinet Company of Nashville, Tennessee is from the company’s Collectors Cherry line and is crafted of solid American wild cherry. The substantial vanity base features an array of storage drawers accented by turned wood knobs, paneled sides, and beautifully turned legs and column details. Above, two smaller accessory drawers flank the large oval swinging mirror, which can be tilted to the desired angle. The warm cherry finish highlights the natural character and variation of the wood throughout. Original manufacturer labels remain on both the vanity base and mirror, identifying them as the No. 327 Vanity Base and No. 327 Swinging Mirror from the Collectors Cherry line. A beautiful example of mid-century American traditional furniture with both decorative presence and practical storage.

Condition: Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and previous use. The cherry finish shows scattered scratches, scuffs, small nicks, surface marks, and areas of finish wear throughout. One area shows more noticeable dark discoloration and finish variation, as pictured. Drawer interiors show additional marks, staining, and discoloration from use. The mirror and wood frame present well overall with age-related wear. Original Davis Cabinet Company labels remain intact on both the vanity base and swinging mirror.
