Dating to approximately the 1980s, this substantial dining table by Drexel Heritage features a warm mahogany finish with an intricately patterned decorative veneer top. Book-matched veneers create a geometric starburst effect across the surface, framed by contrasting banding and a molded edge. The table rests on two substantial turned pedestal bases with four sweeping feet, giving the piece a classic Georgian-inspired profile. Designed for entertaining, the table includes two extension leaves that dramatically increase its overall length while continuing the decorative veneer pattern across the expanded surface. A handsome example of Drexel Heritage's traditional American furniture from the late 20th century, offering both impressive scale and beautiful woodwork.
