Dating to the late 20th century, this striking Neoclassical console table features dramatic sculptural ram’s head supports, a substantial stone-textured top, and an ornate metal cross-stretcher. The table has a wonderfully aged, Old World appearance with richly antiqued finishes and classical detailing inspired by European architectural and decorative traditions. Sculptural ram-form supports anchor each end, while the scrolling iron stretcher and warm wood base add depth and contrast to the design. The substantial top is constructed with a wood core and thick molded composition surface designed with the appearance and texture of aged stone, while the sculptural supports feature a similarly textured finish in variegated bronze, gilt, and aged stone tones. Made in the Philippines, with the original country-of-origin label remaining underneath, this impressive console makes a dramatic statement in an entryway, living room, dining room, or behind a sofa.

Condition: Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and previous use. The intentionally antiqued finish shows areas of rubbing, surface wear, discoloration, and finish variation throughout. The stone-textured top has scattered scratches, small chips, edge wear, and areas of finish loss, including several more noticeable spots along the top and molded border. The sculptural ram’s head supports and metal stretcher show additional patina and finish wear, while the wood base has scattered light scratches, scuffs, and small marks. Overall, the wear complements the heavily aged, Old World character of the piece.
