A handsome vintage wall mirror featuring a tall rectangular silhouette and a warm gilt finish. The substantial wood frame is designed with broad mitered panels, understated molded trim, and a gently rounded outer edge, giving the piece a refined architectural presence. The mirror is divided into two sections by a slender horizontal giltwood bar, an elegant detail reminiscent of traditional Regency and Federal designs. The aged mirror glass displays natural spotting and silvering that adds depth and character to the piece. With its generous scale and restrained design, this mirror would make a striking addition above a console, in an entryway, dining room, bedroom, or living space.

Condition: Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. The gilt finish shows scattered rubbing, scratches, small losses, discoloration, and areas of previous touch-up or repair. There is separation at some of the frame joints as well as cracking and small losses along the molded edges and corners, as shown in photos. The mirror glass has noticeable age-related spotting, cloudiness, and deterioration to the silvering, particularly along the center division and lower portion. The paper backing is torn and has been previously secured with tape. Despite the cosmetic wear, the mirror presents beautifully and retains a wonderful aged character.
