A beautifully preserved set of 8 vintage dining chairs from the Broyhill Premier Ming Dynasty Collection, including 1 armchair and 7 side chairs. Produced in the 1970s as part of Broyhill’s upscale Premier line, this collection reflects the era’s fascination with classic Asian forms reinterpreted through an American design lens. Each chair features a gracefully curved crest rail, open vertical slats, and a dramatic burlwood veneer panel on the backrest, framed in rich espresso-toned hardwood. The seats are upholstered in a soft, neutral patterned fabric that remains in excellent overall condition. These chairs are made in the USA and are structurally solid, with clean joinery and a refined silhouette.
Condition: Overall in very good vintage condition. The wood frames on all chairs show only minor signs of wear consistent with age - nothing structural or distracting. The upholstery on each chair shows light, age-appropriate use, with one side chair having a more noticeable stain that has not come out.
