A stunning example of chinoiserie craftsmanship, this black lacquered armoire features intricate hand-painted scenes in rich gold tones, depicting traditional landscapes, figures, and architecture. The sculpted pagoda-style top and bamboo-style framing add architectural flair, while the detailed Greek key base completes the look with elegance.
Originally designed as an entertainment cabinet, the armoire opens to reveal ample interior storage including adjustable shelving, a drawer, pull-out trays, and built-in cable management. The lower cabinet offers additional concealed storage, making this piece as functional as it is beautiful.

Condition: Overall in very good condition with light wear consistent with age and use. The exterior finish is clean and well-maintained, with minor surface wear. Inside, there are visible scratches and scuffs from previous use as a media cabinet (from TV components and shelving adjustments). There is also a small dent on the bottom left side - shown in the photos.
