Originally designed in 1973 by Milo Baughman, the Tear Drop swivel-tilt chair is a modern classic. Featuring our unique swivel-tilt base and revolutionary construction, the Tear Drop gently cradles while seemingly floating on air. Upholstered in a plush golden camel corduroy velvet, the texture and tone add warmth and mid-century charm. Each chair rests on a rich walnut swivel base, allowing for smooth 360° movement and a gentle tilt for relaxed lounging.

Condition: Good condition. Each chair shows some gentle discoloration—one at the seat cushion and the other along the front of the seat base. Both also feature a faint vertical line of discoloration running down the back, which appears consistently on each chair and is believed to be characteristic of the fabric rather than a stain. There is a small hole along the back seam of one chair. (see photos) The walnut bases display only minimal wear consistent with age and use.
