This vintage stoneware crock was produced by Love Field Potteries of Dallas, Texas, a regional pottery known for its durable utilitarian wares in the mid-twentieth century. Finished in a classic cream glaze, the crock features a clean cylindrical form with a rolled rim and retains the original blue maker’s mark depicting the iconic Love Field airplane logo above “Dallas, Texas.” The boldly stamped “6” indicates its six-gallon capacity, a traditional size used historically for food storage, fermentation, and kitchen preparation.
