Donghia Custom Armless Sofas and Ottoman (Set of 4)

A striking custom-made modular seating suite by Donghia, designed by Robyn Menter Design Associates, Inc. for one of their interior projects. The set includes three armless sofas and a generously scaled ottoman, all upholstered in a smooth, light gray simulated leather. The clean-lined silhouette and impeccable tailoring capture the refined modernism and understated luxury that define both Donghia and Robyn Menter’s design sensibility. Founded by Angelo Donghia, the Donghia brand is celebrated for its architectural forms, elevated materials, and meticulous craftsmanship — hallmarks that have made the company a standard-bearer in contemporary American design. This particular suite was custom fabricated for a Robyn Menter Design Associates project, a Dallas-based firm established in 1994 that merges the disciplines of interior architecture and design. Led by principal Robyn Menter, the firm is known for its modern yet timeless aesthetic, refined material palette, and commitment to sustainable design. Their bespoke furnishings, rugs, and accessories are crafted to create distinctive, art-driven interiors — and this Donghia set is a perfect reflection of that philosophy. Designed for versatility, the modular sofas can be arranged in various configurations or used independently. Built to commercial-grade standards, each piece offers firm, even support and enduring comfort — ideal for residential or boutique hospitality settings alike.

Condition: Overall excellent condition with light, expected signs of use consistent with careful handling. The upholstery is clean and even in tone, with firm, supportive seats and tight seams throughout. One sofa shows a faint scuff on the back corner, while another has a small area of surface wear along the upper back edge—both subtle and not distracting in person. On one sofa, there is some light cracking along the seat at the center seam, as well as additional creasing and stress cracking that becomes visible when seated or pressure is applied. These areas are purely cosmetic and do not affect the structure or comfort of the piece. The ottoman and remaining sections are in similarly well-preserved condition, and the set presents beautifully as a whole.
